{"id":1561,"date":"2011-03-21T10:34:36","date_gmt":"2011-03-21T14:34:36","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/journals.law.harvard.edu\/crcl\/?page_id=1561"},"modified":"2018-12-24T23:18:34","modified_gmt":"2018-12-25T04:18:34","slug":"2011semifinal","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/journals.law.harvard.edu\/crcl\/2011semifinal\/","title":{"rendered":"Ames Semifinal Liveblog"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Welcome to the CR-CL Liveblog!<\/p>\n<p>The annual Ames Competition takes place in three rounds, beginning with the Qualifying Round (held in the fall of competitors\u2019 2L year), followed by the Semi-Final Round (held in the spring of competitors\u2019 2L year), and culminating in the Final Round (held in the fall of competitors\u2019 3L year).<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s Semi-Final Round will take place on <strong>Tuesday, March 22nd and Wednesday, March 23rd at 6pm<\/strong>. The briefs and appendices for both nights are available for download on the <a title=\"website\" href=\"http:\/\/hlsorgs.com\/bsa\/all-about-ames\/\" target=\"_blank\">website<\/a> for the HLS Board of Student Advisors, who run the competition.<\/p>\n<p>This year we will be featuring guest-blogging by Jason Harrow and Phil Mayor, oralists from the 2010 winning Ames team.
