Prompted by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nakedcapitalism.com\/2010\/09\/floridas-kangaroo-foreclosure-courts-judges-denying-due-process-on-behalf-of-banks.html\">reports of egregious violations<\/a> of homeowners\u2019 due process rights by judges on behalf of banks, the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.businessweek.com\/ap\/financialnews\/D9IV079G0.htm\">ACLU has begun examining the issue<\/a> and looking for proof of civil rights violations.<\/p>\n<p>Although Florida\u2019s Attorney General Bill McCollum has joined his 49 colleagues in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.reuters.com\/article\/idUSTRE69J5NC20101020\">opening an investigation<\/a> into foreclosure fraud, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.nakedcapitalism.com\/2010\/10\/foreclosure-mills-in-florida-slipping-the-net-of-attorney-general-investigation.html\">Yves Smith<\/a> suggests that the deep pockets of banks and
