Flint Taylor<\/a>. Along with the People&#8217;s Law Office, Mr. Taylor has lad trailblazing investigations that have uncovered unprecedented and systematic injustices committed in and by the City of Chicago. Mr. Taylor&#8217;s efforts have led to the exoneration and compensation of men who were tortured into giving false confessions and to the exposure and cessation of Chicago&#8217;s &#8220;street files&#8221; program, which withheld Brady material wholesale.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Taylor will discuss historic police abuses and the present cultural moment while reflecting on a long and accomplished career. This event will take place from <strong>12-1 pm in WCC 1023<\/strong>.
