Before law school, he worked for the Manhattan Institute and National Review. He studied Biochemistry and Computer Science at the University of Virginia, graduating Phi Beta Kappa, before coming to Harvard. Before law school, he worked as an analyst at General Dynamics Information Technology. After college, he spent time in the Iowa legislature and executive branch before coming to HLS. Originally from Verdigris, Oklahoma, he graduated from the University of Oklahoma with degrees in Industrial &amp; Systems Engineering and Letters. Aaron spent his last two summers with the Becket Fund in Washington, D.C and O\u201dMelveny &amp; Myers in Dallas. He holds an A.B. in English from Harvard College. She graduated from Baylor in 2023 as a University Scholar, with degrees in Political Science, Sociology, and Poverty Studies. She has worked in the U.S. Senate Judiciary Committee, in the District of Massachusetts Public Corruption Unit and the District Attorney&#8217;s office in Waco, Texas.<\/p>\n<div style=\"clear: both\"><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p><!-- Team Member 6 --><\/p>\n<div style=\"margin-bottom: 2rem\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"hoverZoomLink\" style=\"max-width: 150px;height: auto;float: left;margin-right: 1rem;margin-bottom: 1rem\" src=\"https:\/\/journals.law.harvard.edu\/jlpp\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/90\/2025\/12\/MLaney-Headshot-e1765392615326.jpg\" alt=\"PERSON THREE NAME\" \/><\/p>\n<h2>Mason Laney, Managing Editor<\/h2>\n<p>Mason Laney is in his third year at Harvard Law. Before coming to law school, Mason graduated from Wheaton College, where he was extensively involved with student government affairs. He has worked with the Senate Judiciary Committee under Sen. Mike Lee and Sen. Eric Schmitt and spent last summer with Latham &amp; Watkins. He was a part of the Charles Fried Memorial Team which won the 2025 Ames Moot Court Competition. He spent his summers with AZA, Williams &amp; Connolly, and Kellogg Hansen. He current serves on the board of the Harvard Law Republicans, the Harvard Law Catholic Students Association, and the Federalist Society.
