Ben came to HLS after spending four years in Washington, D.C. working on national security-related issues. He served most recently as a foreign affairs advisor to Rep. Seth Moulton (D-MA) and previously had roles at the National Democratic Institute and the Carnegie&nbsp;Endowment for International Peace. He earned his B.A. from Columbia University and M.A. from Sciences&nbsp;Po Paris as a Michel David-Weill Scholar. Before law school, he researched lethal autonomous weapons systems at Special Competitive Studies Project and worked as a paralegal at a New York law firm. In law school, Daniel serves both on <em>NSJ<\/em> and the <em>Harvard Journal of Law &amp; Public Policy<\/em>. His academic interests center on presidential power, foreign affairs, and the legal dimensions of national security and counterterrorism. Prior to law school, Will worked as a Policy Research Associate at Viking Global Investors in New York City, following earlier work in policy consulting and political organizing. Before law school, he worked as a journalist in between college semesters for outlets including <em>Bloomberg<\/em> and <em>The Wall Street Journal<\/em>. On campus, he is also involved with the Harvard National Security &amp; Law Association, HLS Student Government, and the American Constitution Society.
