Charles Kernaghan, Director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, takes up the struggle against expanding sweatshops in the global economy. A renowned labor activist famous for mobilizing students and delivering exposures of the sweatshop conditions in Kathie Lee Gifford’s product line, Kernaghan will explore ways of improving work and wages for the most exploited workers in the global economy. The talk is part of the Labor and Worklife Program Public Forum and Harvard Trade Union Program.
