Sean O’Connell | Editor in Chief

Sean is a third-year J.D. student from Los Angeles, California. He holds a B.A. in Economics from UC Berkeley. At HLS, Sean is involved in organizations and research that focus on international financial regulation, sovereign debt, and international financial institutions. In his free time, Sean enjoys reading just about anything and finding new excuses to eat ice cream.

Michael Tian| Editor in Chief

Michael is a third-year J.D. student, born in China and growing up in the Boston suburbs. He graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Economics and International Relations, with a focus on East Asian security issues. On campus, he has been involved in the Harvard Asia Law Society, the China Law Association, and PILAC. During his time at HLS, he has worked at The World Bank, the U.S. Department of the Treasury Office of Foreign Assets Control, and Harvard’s Cyberlaw Clinic. Upon graduation, Michael will work at Skadden, Arps in their national security practice, focusing on international trade, sanctions, CFIUS, and cybersecurity.

Loren Ben David | Managing Editor

Loren is a third-year J.D. student from Tel Aviv, Israel. She graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles, with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in Philosophy. During her first summer in law school, she interned at the Department of Justice, Office of International Affairs, and spent her second summer as a summer associate with Simpson Thacher & Bartlett’s litigation team. Outside of law school, Loren enjoys hiking, practicing yoga, and taking long walks in nature.

Jack Haynie | Managing Editor

Jack is a third-year J.D. student from Massachusetts. Before law school, Jack graduated from the University of Chicago with a B.A. in Political Science and a minor in History and worked as a consultant at Deloitte Global Trade Advisory. At law school, Jack serves on the board of the Harvard Law and International Development Society and has worked as a Senior Editor on the Harvard National Security Journal. Outside of Cambridge, he has worked for the Department of Justice’s Office of Money Laundering and Asset Recovery, the Office of Foreign Assets Control, and the International Trade Administration. This past summer he was a summer associate at Covington & Burling’s D.C. office, where he will be returning after graduation. In his free time, Jack enjoys cooking, skiing, and history podcasts.

Reva Bardhi | Lead Executive Editor for Print

Reva is a third-year J.D. student from Pogradec, Albania and Albany, New York. She has a B.S. in Business Administration, focusing on finance and corporate law, from Boston University. She is also involved in the Harvard Association of Law and Business, Harvard European Law Association, and Women’s Law Association. She has worked for Vinson & Elkins in New York, the Administrative Court of Appeals in Tirana, Albania, and Cravath, Swaine & Moore in New York. Upon graduation, she will be returning as a full-time corporate associate at Cravath, Swaine & Moore. In her free time, she enjoys reading, painting, and cooking.

Catherine Benestad Hendicott | Lead Executive Editor for Print

Catherine is a third-year J.D. student from Stavanger, Norway. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Government and Economics with a minor in European Studies from Cornell University. In her free time, Catherine performs as a soprano in a choir at Harvard University.

Luke Haubenstock | Lead Executive Editor for Online

Luke is a third-year J.D. student from San Francisco, California. Luke received a B.A. from Columbia University and studied philosophy, politics, and economics (PPE) as a visiting student at Oxford. Luke spent his 1L summer researching climate disclosure rules at an international development bank in London. Before law school, Luke worked at law firms in Boston and Singapore and interned at the International Trade Administration. Outside of law, Luke spent a year working as a cheese-tasting class instructor at a local cheese shop.

Casey Wang | Lead Executive Editor for Online

Casey is a third-year J.D. student from Atlanta, Georgia. Casey received a B.S. in Foreign Service from Georgetown University and completed a Master of Economics as a Yenching Scholar at Peking University in China. Casey spent both 1L and 2L summers at King & Spalding. At Harvard, Casey is also involved in the Harvard Asia Law Society and the Harvard International Arbitration Law Students Association. Outside of law, Casey is a tea enthusiast and enjoys playing pool.

Myron Zhang | Executive Editor for Print

Myron Zhang is a third-year J.D. student from San Jose, California. He holds a bachelor’s in history from Yale University. Outside of class, Myron was a member of the ’23-’24 Jessup Moot Court team and currently serves on the board of APALSA. He has interned for a judge in the Northern District of California and worked for a law firm in Washington, D.C.

Felicia is a third-year J.D. student from Salt Lake City. She received a B.A. in International Relations from Brigham Young University and focused her studies on East Asian politics. At HLS, Felicia is involved in the Immigration and Refugee Clinic, the Crimmigration Clinic, and Student Government. She enjoys hiking and practicing Mandarin in her free time.

Charlotte Laurence is a third-year J.D. student at Harvard Law School, and previously received her MPhil in History and Philosophy of Science from University of Cambridge and her B.A. from the University of California Berkeley. At Harvard, she is also involved in WLA, Vis Moot Court and was an Ames semifinalist.

Daphne is a second-year J.D. student from New Jersey. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University with a B.A. in International Studies and Economics. During her time at HLS, she has worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston and the U.S. Department of Justice in the Money Laundering and Asset Recovery Section. On campus, she is also a Writing Fellow at the Writing Center.

Emily Kohn | Executive Editor for Print

Emily Kohn is a second-year J.D. candidate from Durham, North Carolina. Before law school, she graduated from Columbia University with a B.A. in Political Science and Linguistics and received a Fulbright-Mitacs Globalink summer fellowship to conduct research at the University of Ottawa in Canada. At Harvard, she is a Writing Fellow at the HLS Writing Center, a Congress Editor for the Harvard Journal on Legislation, and a board member of the Harvard National Security & Law Association. She spent her 1L summer at the Department of Justice’s National Courts section, where she fell in love with litigating international trade cases.

Felipe Lobo Koerich | Executive Editor for Print, Special Edition

Felipe is a second-year J.D. student originally from Brazil. He graduated from Georgetown University with a B.S. in Foreign Service, with a major in international politics, and an M.A. in Latin American Studies, with a focus on foreign policy and regional organisations. On campus, Felipe has been primarily involved with Lambda, QTPOC, Alianza, and Advocates, among a smattering of organisations. While at HLS, he has worked at Skadden, Arps in London and Harvard’s Cyberlaw Clinic. In his spare time, Felipe sings at the Harvard Radcliffe community choir, pontificates on the nuances of ethical free food scavenging around campus, and lobbies his friends to go out regularly.

Tanishk Goyal | Executive Editor for Print, Special Edition

Tanishk is an LLM Candidate at Harvard Law School. Prior to coming to Harvard, he was a Law Clerk at the Supreme Court of India. His primary areas of practice are anti-discrimination law, civil rights litigation and public law. His scholarship on public international law includes writings on economic sanctions, interpretation of treaties and the law of the seas.

Amirah Mimano | Executive Editor for Online

Amirah Mimano is a third-year J.D. student from Nairobi, Kenya. She graduated with a B.A. in Political Philosophy, Policy, and Law from the University of Virginia in 2022 and is currently pursuing an LL.M. at the University of Cambridge as part of the Harvard-Cambridge J.D./LL.M. Joint Degree Program. At Harvard, she is active in the Harvard African Law Association (HALA) and the Muslim Law Students Association (MLSA). She spent her 1L summer interning with a defense team at the International Criminal Court and her 2L summer working at the United Nations with the Kenyan delegation. Her interests lie in international law and national security.

Jacob is a third-year J.D. candidate from Houston, Texas. He has a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and Spanish from the University of Virginia and a master’s degree in China Studies from Peking University, where he wrote his thesis on the semiconductor geopolitics of the US-China relationship. His passions include anti-corruption work, administrative law, separation of powers, and national security. At HLS, he is an Executive Editor of the Harvard Law Review and a Teaching Fellow for Federal Courts. During his 1L summer, he worked in the SEC’s Foreign Corrupt Practices Act Unit, and during his 2L summer he was a summer associate at Latham & Watkins in Washington, DC. In his free time, he enjoys reading, running, cooking, and road-tripping.

Hongyi Li| Executive Editor for Online

Hongyi is a third-year J.D. candidate from Shanghai, China. He pursued his undergraduate studies first at Fudan University, and then at Cornell University, where he received a BA in Philosophy. He later went to London for an MPhil in Philosophy. At Harvard, he is involved in the Harvard Asia Law Society and the Harvard China Law Association. He spent his 1L summer at the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in California and 2L summer at Skadden in New York. In his free time, he enjoys thinking about the system of German Idealism.

Yu-Wei Chen | Executive Editor for Online

Yu-Wei is an LL.M. student from Tainan, Taiwan. His interests lie in international law, global health governance, and technology law. He holds an LL.B. from National Chung Cheng University and an LL.M. from National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University, both in Taiwan. Prior to coming to HLS, he was a Law Fellow at the O’Neill Institute for National and Global Health Law at Georgetown University Law Center and also advised Taiwan’s National Health Research Institutes on global health strategies. In his spare time, he enjoys hiking, discovering all sorts of museums, and trying new cuisines.

Luke is a second-year J.D. student from Chester, New Jersey. He holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from Williams College and a MSc in Theory and History of International Relations from the London School of Economics. Prior to law school, Luke worked on commercial projects across the Middle East and spent time conducting research at the King Hussein Foundation in Amman, Jordan.

Soo Jin is a third-year J.D. candidate from Seoul, South Korea. She received a B.A. in Economics from Wellesley College. Before law school, she worked as a consultant in New York and Singapore.

Stephanie Inchaustegui | Finance Chair

Stephanie is a third-year J.D. student from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic with a B.A. in Political Science from UCLA. She sits on the Executive Board of the ILJ as the Sponsorship Chair for Vol. 65 and the 1L Liaison for Vol. 64. As a 2L, She also sits on the Executive Board of HLS Negotiators and enjoys her work as a Teaching Fellow for Professor Michael Sandel at Harvard College.

Margaret Siu | Outreach Chair

Margaret is a third-year J.D. student. She assists Professor Lawrence Lessig on legal frameworks for Artificial General Intelligence. Margaret is also a Technology and Security Policy Fellow at the RAND Corporation, focusing on compute governance, economic law, and national security. Margaret serves as President of the Harvard Trade Forum and as Outreach Chair for the Harvard International Law Journal. She holds MSc degrees from the London School of Economics and Oxford as a Marshall Scholar. Her experience includes roles at CSIS, the UK National Committee on China, and Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company’s legal department. She also founded Apricity Magazine, the University of Texas’s Analecta official arts journal.

Renée Robinson| Symposium Chair

Renée Robinson is a Jamaican-American LLM candidate from Paris, France. She graduated from Johns Hopkins University, Queen Mary University of London, and Sciences Po Law School cum laude, culminating in two international economic law degrees. She is concurrently a third year PhD candidate at Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne and the Institut Français de la Mode (IFM) researching international law, investment arbitration and the fashion industry. She has worked at several investment arbitration firms, consulted at UNESCO, and lectures regularly at Paris Dauphine, ESCP, and Sciences Po where she created the first ever Fashion Law course. Outside of law school, she is a Barre teacher, and thoroughly enjoys fashion and art.

Sophia Kontos | Symposium Chair

Sophia is a second-year J.D. student from Houston, Texas. Sophia came to HLS after earning a B.A. in International Relations from The University of Texas at Austin. She spent her 1L summer at the International Institute for the Unification of Private Law (UNIDROIT) working on cultural property law projects. Outside of law school, she enjoys listening to new music, watching British comedy panel shows, and playing DND.

Adobea Addo-Ashong | Alumni Chair

Adobea is a second-year J.D. student from Accra, Ghana. She earned her B.A. in Political Science with a concentration in International Relations from Emory University. At HLS, she serves as co-president of the Harvard African Law Association (HALA) and is an active member of the Black Law Students Association (BLSA). She also serves on the board of the Journal of Sports and Entertainment Law. Adobea spent her first-year summer at Gibson Dunn in New York City, where she gained valuable exposure to cross-border transactions. She is particularly interested in development, international business, and finance.

Abril Elverdin | LLM Liason

Abril is an LL.M. student from Buenos Aires, Argentina. She earned her law degree with the distinction of “academic excellence” from Universidad Torcuato di Tella. After graduation, Abril specialized in Investment Arbitration, focusing on the defense of States. Back in Argentina, she served as an adjunct professor, teaching Public International Law and International Investment Arbitration. Additionally, she contributed to the Latin American Journal of International Law as an Editor.

Becca Gray | 1L Liason

Becca is a first-year J.D. student from Naperville, Illinois. She holds a B.A. in Political Science and Economics and an M.P.A from the Univeristy of Alabama. Her interests lie in international human rights law and issues in national security.
