General Information
The Harvard Environmental Law Review seeks to publish innovative, original scholarship that makes a significant contribution to the field of environmental law. HELR welcomes submissions from professors, practitioners, and students year-round and makes offers for online publication on a rolling basis.
Submissions should be between 500 and 6,000 words, and citations should conform to the latest edition of The Bluebook: A Uniform System of Citation. For online publication, submissions can range from shorter, blog-style pieces that briefly describe a timely issue in environmental law and offer original insight, to longer article- or note-style pieces.
How to submit an online article generally:
If you would like HELR to consider your article for publication, please submit the article and your CV to our email account (hlselrsubmit@gmail.com). We accept submissions for online scholarship on a rolling basis. Current Harvard Law School students should follow the same process.
Please use “HELR ONLINE SUBMISSIONS VOLUME 49” as your email subject.
